Lambda Fooler/ Mini Cat

The purpose of the Mini Catalytic Converter /Lambda Fooler is for it to "fool" the second downstream Lambda checksum sensor into thinking the OEM catalytic converter is still installed in the exhaust system preventing the ECU to go into limp mode and allow the vehicle to have added performance

Please note:

Incompatibility of the Mini Catalytic Converters/ Lambda Foolers is possible on some vehicles with aftermarket exhaust systems where the ECU can still detect that the catalytic converter/s are removed even with the fooler installed.

• This is due to the lack of heat generation required for the reaction to occur of the catalytic converter material internally within the fooler.
• This is directly caused by different exhaust diameters, exhaust metal used and distance from the engine/ heat source.
• This is also applies to vehicles with stock exhaust systems which have the catalytic converter/s removed, as the restriction created by the OEM catalytic converters is no longer present and therefore the heat generation is reduced or is not present

The issues highlighted above in some cases would require the Lambda Fooler/ Mini Catalytic Converter to be repositioned forwards in exhaust systems
Due to the nature of the product, Performance Products SA cannot be held accountable should it not work unless customer trial and error and conclusive investigation has been done.
